Printing methods for chocolate boxes

The following are examples showing how the box can change its appearance using various offset printing techniques, CMYK, Pantone, and Metallic..

CMYK


A widely used print technique with 4 printing colors - C = Cyan / Blue, M = Magenta / Pink, Y = Yellow / Yellow and K = Contrast / Black. Together, one can mix the four colors and achieve a wide scale of colors. CMYK is typically the cheapest printing method to choose and it is very well suited with, e.g., photos.

PANTONE


Pantone is hand-mixed inks matched against a color card. Pantone colors are clear and clean and suitable hitting the right color in, for example, a logo or if you only have a few, selected colors in your design.
